Wyoming : Administration

Wyoming is 50th among the 50 states of U.S. Wyoming is located in the Mountain  region of Western United States and was admitted to the Union of United States in 1890 as the 44th state. The constitution of Wyoming gives three branches of government: executive, legislative and judicial. The executive council consists of governor of the state five officially; secretary of state, treasurer, attorney general, auditor and superintendent of state. The legislative branch consists of 60-members of House of Representatives and 30 senators. The third branch is the judicial authority which includes Wyoming Supreme Court which is the highest court in the state with five-justices presiding over appeals from other lower courts. Besides the Supreme Court other courts like circuit courts of general jurisdiction also exists.

Department of Health: The aim of the department is to improve the health of the people of Wyoming by operating programs in promotion of health, prevention and control of diseases, mother and child care, management of nursing homes and hospitals. The department also provides emergency services and coordinates with other health care providers and local health departments.

Department of Environmental Quality: The Motive of the department is to protect and preserve the environment through natural resource assessment in order to sustain the environment of Wyoming for the present and future generations by monitoring clean air, clean water, recycling and clean disposal of waste.

Department of Transportation: The Wyoming Department of Transportation constructs and maintains highways, bridges, roads, railroads, seaways, airways and mass transit systems for the safe, efficient and faster movement of people and goods.

Department of Tourism: The mission of the department of Tourism is to promote Wyoming as vacation destination to all visitors and hence strengthen the overall economy of the state.
