Gillette



A county seat of Campbell County, Gillette was named after surveyor and civil engineer Weston Gillette. Gillette is on the Missouri Plateau between the Bighorn Mountains to the west and the Black Hills to the east, in the Powder River Basin.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city covers a total area of 34.7 km² (13.4 mi²) of which 34.6 km² (13.4 mi²) of it is land and 0.1 km² (0.04 mi²) of it (0.15%) is water.
