Sheridan



Sheridan is a city in Sheridan County and a county seat as well. The community was named after Gen. Philip H. Sheridan, Union cavalry leader in the Civil War. Located near the Montana border Sheridan.has a total area of 22.0 km² (8.5 mi²). 22.0 km² (8.5 mi²) of it is land and 0.1 km² (0.04 mi²) of it (0.24%) is water.
